Product Overview: A high-voltage collision between Tokyo dark-luxury tailoring and countercultural psychedelic graphics, the Mastermind Japan x Trippy Art "Rock Star" Zip Up Hoodie represents an exceptional crossover capsule between Masaaki Honma’s mastermind JAPAN and progressive visual label Trippy Art. Merging the raw, rebellious electricity of 1970s rock 'n' roll iconography with Mastermind’s uncompromising punk-couture DNA, this full-zip hoodie elevates musical nostalgia into an imposing, gallery-caliber streetwear artifact.

The garment is crafted from ultra-heavyweight cotton French terry, spun with high structural density to deliver a crisp, architectural drape that maintains its silhouette over years of wear. Across the front quarters, subtle co-branded graphics sit cleanly, leading to the main visual spectacle on the reverse: Mastermind Japan’s signature monumental skull and crossbones insignia, intricately reimagined through Trippy Art’s fluid, acid-distorted line-work and "Rock Star" motifs in razor-sharp high-definition screenprint. The front is anchored by an industrial-gauge, two-way metallic zipper that enables dynamic split-level styling and versatile layering. The dual-layer storm hood stands erect without slouching, framed by heavy-gauge ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem. Mastermind’s signature design codes finish the piece, including the anti-tarnish metal D-ring anchored at the lower waistband alongside co-branded woven tags. Designed to pair seamlessly with deconstructed denim, leather motorcycle trousers, or relaxed utility cargo pants. Inspected, authenticated, and available in-stock at WEAR43WAY Hong Kong.
